Leveraging the International Student Workforce

AIESEC is a global not-for-profit organization established in 1948 that is dedicated to empowering young leaders across the world. Operating in more than 126 countries and 2,600+ universities, we bridge Austin companies and the global talent pool of professionals to provide students and graduates with the opportunity to work in Austin for 3 to 18 months.

To bring these young professionals to Austin, we work with the U.S. State Department to carry out exchanges with the J1 Visa, which allows holders to come to the US and work, as well as the United Nations to develop projects that support the Sustainable Development Goals. Some of our current partners include PwC, Microsoft, and Google. AIESEC continues to supply these companies with international talent and provides a unique solution to their hiring needs.

Marissa Mann is the University of Texas Representative for AIESEC and is the Vice President of Business Development. She is passionate about companies that have powerful missions, and her accomplishments reflect this. She is a full-time student, a venture analyst, and has been in B2B sales for the past year and a half. Along with her leadership position at AIESEC, she has also acted as president of the International Business Student Association (IBSA) on UT Campus. Currently, Stephanie Valle serves as president of IBSA.  For any questions about IBSA and President Stephanie Valle, she may be reached at: stephanie.g.valle at gmail dot com

Marissa and her AIESEC team bring many opportunities for WACA members! They hope to connect with internationally-focused companies or individuals who may be interested in their J1-Visa service.
