There are three types of membership with the World Affairs Council of Austin — Individual, Student/Military, or Family.
Individual or Student membership benefits include:
- Invitations to Council members-only events.
- Free admission to special Council events.
- Members-only discount pricing on special programs, including Council luncheons and dinners.
- Complimentary subscription to monthly Council e-newsletter.
- Weekly World News Updates.
- Monthly conference calls with international policy decision-makers.
- Registration discounts for select WACA partner organizations and business events.
- Eligible for Council-organized international travel and study.
- Eligible to attend the annual World Affairs Council conference in Washington, D.C.
Student/Active Military Membership: $25
Individual Membership: $50

- All the benefits of Individual Membership for two adults in same household.
- Free admission to many Council programs and events for full-time students living at home.

Individual/Family Plus Membership: $100 or $150
- All the benefits of Individual or Family Membership and:
- Priority seating for Council events, when available.
- Discounted admission to partner events.
- Access to special Council receptions and events.

Individual/Family Silver Membership: $250 or $375
- All the benefits of Individual Plus or Family Membership Plus.
- Invitation to exclusive events and dinners (at least 1 per year).
- Ability to invite 1 friend to attend Council events at Individual Member status (Family Silver: 2 friends at Individual Member status).

Individual/Family Gold Membership: $500 or $750
- All the benefits of Individual Silver or Family Silver Membership.
- Name included in printed event program.
- The opportunity to host a Council reception or dinner at your home or business.
- Ability to invite 2 friends to attend Council events at Individual Member status (Family Gold: 4 friends at Individual Member status).
- Invitation to exclusive events/receptions with visiting Ambassadors and/or other VIPs.
