Panel Preview: Czech Republic – Opportunities, Technology, and Expansion

Today’s partnership between Texas and the Czech Republic has long roots. Nineteenth century Czech settlers in Texas helped shape our state’s history, culture, traditions, and even food. As a 21st century business partner and investment destination, the Czech Republic has much to recommend it. Its growth rate and unemployment rate typically outperform the EU average, it combines a skilled and educated workforce with competitive costs and offers an enviable location. The Czech Republic is ranked the 8th safest and most peaceful country in the world. Panelists include Brian Vanicek, Honorary Consul of Czech Republic; Levan Bokeria, Head of the CzechTrade – Austin; Pavla Kralova, CEO of iBridge; and international filmmaker/producer, Skye Wallin. Panel moderator and business development/risk management expert Polina Anastassieva, will lead attendees through an examination of developments over the past five years.
