The World Affairs Council of Austin has partnered with the Kozmetsky Center of Excellence in Global Finance at St. Edward’s University to offer a series of Forums on Global Investment, Finance, Emerging Markets and Geopolitical Risk. The focus of this Forum is Brazil.
Political Officer Ian Brown at the U.S. Embassy in Brazil will serve as moderator for the presentation. Valerie Belon, Economic Counselor, will provide an overview of the U.S. Foreign Service. Joel Reynoso, Deputy Senior Commercial Officer, will discuss commercial engagement in Brazil. Economic Officers Scott Miller, Greg Meier, and Martiza Navarrete will provide brief overviews of the trade and investment, energy, and technology sectors in Brazil.
