In collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, the World Affairs Council of Austin is pleased to present “Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan: A Japan – USA Business Opportunities Dinner Panel & Discussion.”
Participants will learn more about the state of Japan’s economy, its current business climate and specific trade opportunities which are available for local businesses.

Yasuo SAITO, former Ambassador of Japan to Saudi Arabia, Russia, and France. Mr. Saito also served as Japan’s representative to UNESCO, and maintains a deep knowledge of economics and culture.
Hiroshi TSUKAMOTO, former Deputy Director General for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Mr. Tsukamoto provided pivotal input on the development of Japan’s trade and energy policies.
Tetsuo KITAGAWA worked for Toyota for over 40 years, and has visited several U.S. plants. Mr. Kitagawa provides insite on the mentality of “Monozukuri” (Japan’s creative design and manufacturing).
