This month’s topic will be:
“US” in the 21st Century
The retrenchment from global leadership over the last few years has caused many to question and possibly reassess U.S. global leadership. With a new administration, what actions can we take to reassert our leadership in the world? Or, has the country and the world changed too much to let this happen? Will we be driving the train or just listening and partnering in multi-polar world?
On the other hand, official policies do not necessarily reflect personal relationships. What are some of your own experiences living and traveling abroad? What did you learn from the people you met and befriended about their attitude towards our country? Do you think that they still feel the same way today? Please join us for what will be a very interesting and lively discussion.
