Experience Japan at the Oita Summer Festival! You won’t want to miss the “Doing Business in Japan” seminar during the Festival. Texas exported over $6 billion in goods and services to Japan in 2016. This represents a 22% increase from 2015. Japan is also a top five export market for central Texas companies. Be sure to attend this informative session to learn more from our friends at the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
This session will include an overview of Japan’s industry sectors including a look at the Japanese corporate presence in the U.S., Japanese cultural characteristics, promising sectors for U.S. goods and services, and resources for American companies wishing to establish a corporate entity in Japan. There will be 2 sessions of the same briefing (1:00 pm or 2:30 pm) and you can attend either one.
