The Kozmetsky Center at St. Edward’s University, in collaboration with the World Affairs Council of Austin, is offering a series of sessions titled “Challenges to the Western Liberal Order”. The session on Tuesday April 17th will feature leading policy officials and academics representing nations of the transatlantic community, Russia and China to discuss challenges to the rules and traditions and values of the existing Western liberal order. Forum participants will explore the pressures on domestic and international political and financial institutions and communities to adapt to the changing global power configuration and rapidly evolving international security, economic, financial and social developments.

Dr. Dmitry Suslov, Program Director Valdai Group and National Research University Higher School of Economics Moscow and

This will be the fourth conference event on transatlantic security funded by a U.S. Department of Education Title VI National Resource Program grant in cooperation with the Center for European Studies and Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at University of Texas, Austin.
