Mayor Steve Adler is leading a delegation to Asia to explore trade and business opportunities in South Korea, China, Singapore, and Taiwan.
The mayor will be meeting with government officials, business leaders and touring sites to learn about best practices and innovative solutions to affordability and mobility and other issues that can be applied to solve problems in our city.
There is space for a small delegation of business representatives to join this delegation for all or parts of the trip. Representatives of the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Austin’s Economic Development Department will facilitate one on one business meetings or site visits for a curated itinerary for selected businesses. Specific areas of focus are: technology generally, life sciences/medtech, and entrepreneurship.
