Alex is the Executive Director of the Peace and Security Funders Group, an umbrella organization coordinating philanthropic initiatives on peace and security. Culling from experiences gained through a decade in the nonprofit and philanthropy sector in Washington, D.C., Alex will discuss the role that domestic and international NGOs play in preventing nuclear terrorism. She will share her expertise on foreign policymaking in D.C. and her top tips for beginning a career and maximizing success in philanthropy and the nonprofit world.
