\u201cFood Diplomacy\u201d\u00a0can be described as an interesting international business strategy that can bring countries together or even divide them. Think back to the days when kings would host banquets and lure their enemies to share secrets. At the same time, food has also brought us closer. Think about all the varying restaurants and neighborhoods in our country – Thai, Persian, Indian, even Italian.<\/p>\n

What about cultural and religious food taboos in business and diplomacy?\u00a0 What is the role of food as \u201csoft power\u201d or food scarcity as a source of conflict, especially as we face the impact of climate change? Let’s discuss some of your own business and personal culinary experiences abroad. Food always has and will be a common denominator amidst all our differences.<\/p>\n
