DESCRIPTION:Join the World Affairs Council of Austin for this roundtable discussion with Enterprise Singapore and explore opportunities for collaboration in advanced manufacturing and supply chain resilience. \n\nIn this session\, Enterprise Singapore will share details on the Southeast Asia Manufacturing Alliance\, a program which offers a network of support and benefits to manufacturers that are keen to tap into the region’s strengths. \nThe US-Singapore Partnership for Growth and Innovation (PGI) aims to strengthen US-Singapore trade and investment collaboration starting with four pillar areas: digital economy\, clean energy and environmental technologies\, advanced manufacturing\, and healthcare. Through this existing partnership\, the US and Singapore seek to discuss immediate and long-term challenges that face both economies\, including enhancing supply chain resilience. Although the Southeast Asia region has great potential for growth\, businesses are grappling with challenges to their supply chains including those relating to transparency\, data flows\, and sustainability tracking.
