SUMMARY:Globalist Coffeehouse: Cultural Dimensions Around the World
DESCRIPTION:How each country views emotion\, conflict\, universalism\, achievement\, or even their environment can vary from one part of the world to another. In the United States and Western Europe countries tend to be more expressive and lean towards confrontation. Meanwhile\, in Asia and South Asia countries tend to avoid conflict. Of course\, there are always exceptions no matter what part of the world one is in. \n\nDespite the common rhetoric\, we tend to have more similarities than differences\, but some cultures find support in a collective mindset instead of individualism. Even the same color can carry a different meaning around the world. For example\, the shade of white in the United States is considered to represent purity\, renewal and rebirth. Yet\, in Asian countries it is considered to be the symbol of death.\n\nIs it important to follow the same rules regardless of what the situation is\, or do they vary depending on the circumstances? And what about handling projects and resources? Are they finite to be closely managed or can they be flexible?\n\nPlease join us for what will be a very interesting discussion.
